,,always you vs me”
LEVILA ALKOPOOD (ja näitus): ALKOLEVI was an experimental alcohol store in Telliskivi, open from November 13 to November 15, 2024, as part of Levila's work. The goal was to highlight alcohol accessibility and culture in Estonia by demonstrating how easy it is to open an alcohol retail business. The space also functioned as a small exhibition venue for artists, blending investigative journalism with contemporary art.

,,always you vs me” installation explores the way we perceive alcoholism while being alcohol consumers ourselves - how the line between understanding addiction and our own drinking habits is often blurred. Together with my father, I built two stands covered with images of myself. One stand portraits me in “rave” clothes, following with a text ,,SEE OLED SINA”; while the other is the same but layered with bad graphic design - a chaotic mix of images depicting various alcohol-related diseases, following with a text ,,SEE ON ALKOHOOLIKU KEHA”.
